Adjunct Fits?

Hello!

I'm a 35 year old male who is doing some adjuncting this semester and I was wondering what the advice was. I'm curious what other people my age and older think, and also anyone younger.

I'm not looking to be super trendy, just like I have good style and taste and not too millenial. I'm fine being 35 and I actually would like to feel like an adult for once (lol).

For more context. I'm teaching art classes (design and fine arts) so I have a lot of flexibility, and while they're relatively clean classes I need to be able to move, lol. (I'm also not jacked but I'm 6' and in decent shape).

This isn't my first time adjuncting, before I had a sort of chino/khaki/nice denim + button up + jacket vibe that I used. I like dressing up, so I have a lot of clothes... but I can't tell if like a blazer is too much? A tie? What is the going vibe fmillennial. teachers. I imagine students mostly don't care but i also don't want to feel super out of touch.

Another post asking about side effects.

I looked through some other posts but didnt see anything quite related to this so I wanted to send it out into the ether and see what everyone else had to say.

I (35m) have been on 25mg for about 2ish weeks and ive been exhausted since a couple days into taking the meds. Like, getting up, taking it, and then needing to take a nap. I've never taken naps in my life. I tried taking it at night and then did not sleep so i dont even know. The apathy is also hitting me hard. I cant tell if im depressed or I was just motivated by anxiety and now that its quieter I cant get anything done? I dont know if my life can handle my lack of motivation for another 6 weeks (self employed).

Has anyone had these symptoms and had them improve? Im not really "miserable" but I also feel so unlike myself.

I also have an adhd diagnosis. I was on welbutrin for 7ish weeks and had to stop cold turkey when I developed crazy levels of muscle tension, but before that it was working so well.

Anyway. Any tips?

Real World Writing Demo?

Hello! Im a newbie songwriter. I know there are a million and a half videos on chord progressions, but are there any resources that track someone actively writing a song? Like, i know when and where to use all the chord types, but I'd love to see someones thought process writing a (medium/complex) chord progression or melody... Like how and why they make each choice, and what order they do things in. Essentially like a really good instructional life drawing demo but for music, rather, than something abstract.

I read through the FAQ but I did not see anything specifically about this, but if there is you can point me towards it!
