Figured this is a scam- can anyone confirm for my peace of mind?

I got an email today supposedly from a hiring manager at a company (Launch FG) I applied to for a cooperate operations coordinator position. It says I’ve advanced to the next round of the recruitment process. In it, it says the next step is to reach out to a 904 number over signal with a name I can’t find online after a quick search.

This seems like a scam by someone who is determined to go to hell is running. I would also hate to pass up the opportunity though so I’m hoping anyone has personal experience with this.

Thanks, and good luck fellow unemployed people 🩵

I had a small win - in case anyone is going through an unemployment claims dispute with their old job

Posting for anyone who ends up in a similar situation down the line:
I got laid off a few months ago for poor performance on my remote job. I was working insanely hard and really pushing my limits, but the job was for a much more analytical brain than mine. I worked through every lunch and became so unhappy as everything became about numbers and waiting anxiously on others to be able to finish my work.

I developed a poor relationship with a temporary manager when we had a misunderstanding. It was over the ****approved**** PTO I took, and after being berated like a child I knew she was going to take any opportunity after that to push me out.

Sure enough I got PIPed and though I got my numbers up for both reviews each month, it wasn’t enough for them. There was a day I missed a meeting (I literally worked right through it, online the entire time after she changed the time of it. It would have took one “hey the meeting started” but of course she saw this as an opportunity). Boom, fired. Also the meeting was literally to socialize and I was very busy, y’know, working my literal ass off to try and meet this PIP. Anyways.

I get on unemployment. I apply to a million jobs. I get my heart broken each time I make it to the third, fourth round and not chosen. I finally feel like I’m at least in a manageable situation paying my bills when….my company contests my claim saying I was fired for misconduct! 🙄 I have since been enlightened to how these large companies don’t care about anything other than their money. Which I could have told you for most, but I was with this one for years in various positions and they provide therapy for mental disabilities, so I was disillusioned as to just what POS they are up in HQ.

I was SUPER nervous about the phone interview and turning in my statements. I was totally honest and to my understanding this is (somewhat, kind of) out of the ordinary, but unemployment ruled in my favor. 🥳 I am so relieved I almost cried. I’ve been doing everything to get a job and this is a small break I’ve managed to catch. It was pretty straightforward and my only broad advice is to be very polite and not emotional/upset at all.

Mostly I’m just posting because I was frantically reading through the topic on here, and I wanted to add some hope. Always push back when you know you’ve done your best. Wishing everyone on here good luck 🩵

Water bowls

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their pups, as mine is my first terrier:

I rescued Benny at the age of five and don’t know a lot about her old home life, so maybe this habit stems from it. But whenever we leave the house, she won’t take even a sip from her water bowl. She will wait hours until we get home and then chug it down.

This hasn’t been a big issue when I was working from home, but I may be moving back to the office soon and I want to make sure she isn’t regularly spending time completely dehydrated!

I am going to try leaving around multiple bowls so she sees she has as much as she needs (and potty pads just in case lol). Any other suggestions?
