Just saw the first two episodes of the new gits anime adaptation

Yesterday I went to the theater to watch the premiere of the first two episodes of the new Ghost in the Shell anime series.

Overall, I had a great time.

It's vibrant, stylish, and just the right amount of weird very much in the spirit of the original manga.

Unlike previous adaptations, this one stays remarkably faithful to both the manga's visual style and several of its individual scenes, while still making its own changes.

I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series!

Made some noise with a Monotron Delay and a 3DS... and the ending was not entirely under my control

Experimenting with raw textures and dirty delay using one of my favorite tiny setups.

The session gets interrupted near the end by an unexpected collaborator.

Cooking with a broken soviet analog synth

Used an almost dead Polivoks for a noise session.

The signal started clipping so hard it overloaded my interface, muted everything, and crashed the entire project mid-recording.

Totally worth it.

Noise music became therapy for my tinnitus and helped me make music again

Hey everyone.

For a long time I went through a pretty dark period in my life. I had serious health issues, and the medication ended up causing tinnitus.

That whole experience completely knocked me out of balance, and I stopped making music for several years.

The longer I stayed away from it, the harder it became to come back. At some point even opening a DAW felt overwhelming.

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for noise music, but it was the genre that helped me start creating again.

The constant sound helps distract me from the ringing, and the genre itself gave me a way to make music without feeling trapped by structure, melodies, arrangements or the usual boundaries of conventional music.

This project is basically my way back into making art again.

If anyone wants to listen and give honest feedback, I’d genuinely appreciate it.

Thanks for reading 🖤
