Last week, my vehicle overheated after driving on the highway in the heat. My coolant reservoir was almost empty (no sign of leaks prior to this). I let the engine cool off, filled the reservoir with coolant, and was able to get home. The next day, when I checked the reserve, it was empty again. I checked the oil and there I found the missing coolant mixed with the oil.

Does that sound like the coolant intrusion or something else (head gasket)? I didn't know about the coolant issues in the ford ecoboost engines until this happened, so I can't say if there was white smoke or shuttering.
