The eternal love story of Rama and Sita and how they met.💞

This story takes place in Mithila were a sage wanted Rama (the man with arrows in the video) to witness the divine bow of Shiva. Rama went to a flower garden in Mithila where at the same time princess Sita had gone with her companions to worship Goddess Parvati.

There, Rama and Sita met for the first time. This moment is described as spritually powerful, as if two souls recognising each other instantly.

Sita becomes shy and deeply moved after seeing Rama, Rama is too captivated by her beauty.

After seeing Rama, Sita prays to Goddess Parvati and wishes Rama to be her husband.

Later, Sita's father King Janaka holds a "Swayamvara" where whoever can lift the gigantic divine bow of Shiva and string it up will be declared the husband of Sita.

The weapon was so absurdly heavy that even powerful kings couldn't move it and everyone failed.

Then comes prince of Ayodhya, Rama. Rama then lifts the bow, tie a string in it and ultimately broke it during the process. Rama and Sita then get married and the story continues with their bond becoming one of the most revered love stories in Hinduism...

There are many interpretations of how Rama and Sita met, this one is from a text named "Ramcharitmanas", the other widely known version "Valmiki Ramayana" doesn't mention this bow lifting ceremony though. This feels like a classic Disney Prince and Princess story so thought I should share it. That's all🙏🏻
