Trusting the Process 📚✨
Hi everyone! My name is Ajia and I’m currently in the Master of Science in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
The most valuable part of my journey at the University of Phoenix has been the growth I’ve experienced along the way. I came into this program knowing that I wanted to learn how to leave a lasting impact on my community, but I don’t think I realized how much becoming a counselor would also require me to learn about myself. Each course challenged me in ways I could not even begin to imagine, my residency experience pushed me completely out of my comfort zone and helped me become more confident in my ability to connect with and support others.
My residency has been one of the most rewarding parts of the program so far because I was able to take everything I had l learned online and begin applying it in real counseling interactions. It reminded me that becoming a counselor is truly a process, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for everything that still lies ahead.
I’m grateful for the journey so far and excited to see where it takes me next! ✨
