Isle of Wight vegans... Are you out there?

I moved to the island in 2022 and although I have made friends with many lovely people, none are vegan and it's not the most progressive place, so I usually have to avoid conversations around it as I'm either laughed off or it upsets people. I'm really passionate about the ethics, so it can get really frustrating not having people to talk to that just get it, you know?

I am very fortunate that my partner is also vegan so it's not like I'm completely alone with it, but we both wish we had more vegans in our lives to socialise with. I'm avoiding posting on the IOW sub as there's a few trolls on there that go after anything remotely "woke" and I just don't have the energy to deal with that right now. 😅

I'm not on FB which I know is a bit of a hurdle but it's for my own sanity and I can't face going back on there. So if you're out there, hit me up!! 💚✌🏻🌱
