1 year into Peri - 38 year old
Hello there. I'm finally reaching out to a community for help. I'm 38 and am about a year ish into perimenopause. My energy level plummeted and my fatigue and willingness to move caused me to go from 5'8 144 lb athlete to 169 lbs in 18 months. My doctor and husband are intervening and saying I need to start moving again.
My calories never changed but my movement did and I'm about 4 weeks into a journey trying to change how I view exercise. Instead of 5 days a week of lifting I'm doing 3 days a week of cardio and 2 of lifting.
Do anyone have any guidance or like experience? I'm looking for a timeline on how to drop the weight and then tone up the very visceral fat around my gut ive gained
