[Java]My friend is playing on my g-portal server, his game looks blurry and mine doesnt

We both are using the same modpack. His game was running normally until we decided to install distant horizons, I added it to server and client. When he loaded back in, this is what his game looked like. Any suggestions?

Ps I tried having him uninstall DH mod, turning off shaders, and texture pack and nothing worked
