Mystery flexi grey pipe is draining all water on to the floor under the bath, and it's not the overflow as that's connected on the left side of the pipe.
Hello! Hoping for a bit of sage advice here, the parents are away so I was checking in on the house and noticed a strange noise when I threw a cup of water down the drain.
Removed the bath panel and immediately could see standing water and a tonne of wood rot.
Poured a tiny bit of water down the bath to see where it's coming from and the flexi grey pipe on the right was draining straight onto the floor.
Thought it was a disconnected bath overflow, but that's on the left hand side of the pipe and is fully connected.
From what I've seen online this is apparently meant to be an appliance pipe that would drain into the drain trap for the bath, but there's no appliances in the bathroom.
Anyone have any idea if this is meant to connect and drain somewhere?
Or was this originally meant to be capped off in the drain trap?
