I have only taken Gwen and Alice through the spirit gate so far and they both had me absolutely sobbing (Alice a lot more, I grew up in an elderly care center and have real life experience with Alzheimers. I see the beginning stages of it in my mom currently so even before Alice was off the boat, I was not okay)

Without spoilers, are they all so sad? I get that they are dead and that in itself is sadish but are all of their stories so emotionally devastating?
