The other day I tried to login to my Snapchat and saw that my account has been banned permanently with no right of appeal. I also cannot download my data due to a 'security restriction'.

My device isn't banned so I can still create a new account.

The only thing I can think that I did is send a blank snap saying something like 'bored sum1 talk' to a large number of friends and other people I've added (who haven't accepted). But surely this wouldn't warrant that action!?
