Hello, I have never used Snapchat before, but my girlfriend and I have been together for a year. She recently installed Snapchat, so I wanted to install it too and see what it’s about, but she is refusing to give me her Snapchat. Is that weird, and what could be the reason? I don’t know anything about the app literally.

I have a snap score of like 188 and I think it’s pretty cool

I might seem dumb , but I had 0 idea abt the 5gb limit of snap nd always used it for unnecessary stuff nd didn't delete em later , now I have 4 yrs worth photos on snap nd the limits has crossed ,

My query is if i delete the not required stuff from snapchat memories like in the app itself nd not from my phone gallery , will it help ? I barely have time for stuff like shifting photos nd videos to some other device , pls let me know this ,

so my friends boyfriend has this ex and he recently noticed their name came up on his Snapchat? Shows up “you may know” what’s this mean?? His boyfriend is saying he doesn’t have exes on Snapchat.

Friends boyfriends friends will show up with the same thing “you know” which is fine but obviously that’s not the red flag.

There are no mutual friends either.

Will anyone know I downloaded my data?

I have a friend whose bf has access of her snapchat, so when they broke up , he changed her snapchat password and the recovery email she had, somehow she lost the email as well, so both the access of snapchat is with her boyfriend. And he has also have a access on her personal pictures, and circulating throughout, How can she recover her account, please indirect way or direct way, legal va non legal, please help????????

Since yesterday my most recent conversations (both private chats and group chats) have been slowly disappearing from the “Chat” section.

I first realised it when I was just messaging my friend, 10 minutes later I go on the app and our chat just isn’t there, so I searched his name at the top and it worked fine and he reappeared on the chat section. But since then his account kept disappearing but also slowly every single chat (in order) is disappearing.

I pinned my chat with that friend and it’s staying there but now the most recent chats it’s showing is from 70 weeks ago (I don’t message a lot of people so it’s like 15ish chats that have disappeared). And as I am writing this, I just checked and the most recent chat that it was showing from 70 weeks ago has just disappeared when it was there before I started writing this.

At the top of the chat section there’s those filters like “Best Friends” “Groups” etc, and when I press on them the chats that match those filters reappear but when I turn Snapchat off and back on its again only showing from 70 weeks and further back.

Yesterday I have logged out and logged back in, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. That made the chats all come back but since then they have disappeared again one by one. Today I turned my phone on and off, did nothing. Has anyone had this issue and/or does anyone know how I could possibly fix this. Thanks.

so my girlfriend of nearly a year now barely uses snapchat to speak to anyone i mean like literally there’s me a few friends and my family so probably about 8 people just enough to fill a best friends list however she does have a lot of people added on snap, anyways, she has two people at the bottom of her best friends list, lets call them abbie and laurie, who she barely speaks to, now every now and then one of them will disappear and she’ll only have 7 best friends, only for one them to reappear later on after a message or two and then they’ll be gone again not too long after, now i don’t know if they disappear due to not speaking enough or if she is adding another guy when im not with her and then blocking him when im there as i have people on my best friends list who i haven’t spoken to in 1-2 weeks and they don’t randomly disappear.

My boyfriend deinstalled snapchat, and I believe him that he did that, but out of curiosity I started checking every few weeks if his snapscore went up (since I noticed it for the first time in Dezember).

It’s always like 30-100 at a time and seems to be a monthly thing?

Is it possible that SC opens Snaps after a few weeks of inactivity?

It‘s just weird that it seems it seems to be a „all at once“ opening instead of a „snap reached 30 days, it’s getting opened and a few days later same happens with another one“

Or does he need to manually check in Snap every month for it to make sense?

Don‘t want to open this topic with him, since I do not care that much, just more of a curiosity thing if Snap works like that.

Hi I never use VPNs but I wanted to watch a race 24 hours Nurburgring because wasn’t in North America for free.

I never desactivated cause I don’t really know that you had to deactivated and thought just closing the app should work

Can that get me banned ?

Ich habe über drei Jahre mit meiner Ex Freundin auch Snapchat geschrieben. Dementsprechend hatten wir auch eine Riesen Galerie von unserer Vergangenheit im Chat.
Sie hatte mich vor 7 Monaten auf Snapchat als Freund entfernt. Ich hatte aber noch Zugriff auf unseren Chat und habe ab und zu mal unsere Fotos angesehen.

Heute habe ich allerdings festgestellt, dass alle snaps, die sie mir gesendet hatte, gelöscht worden sind.

Es sind nur noch snaps zu sehen, die ich gesendet hatte über die letzten 3-4 Jahre.

Ist das ein automatischer Prozess von Snapchat oder hat sie selber die ganzen Sachen im Chat gelöscht?
Sie hätte mich dafür eigentlich adden müssen, ansonsten kann sie nämlich nicht auf unseren Chat zugreifen.

I broke up with my bf and took a break from snap by deactivating my account for a month. When I reactivated my account I got curious and checked his public profile. A couple days later I checked again because I missed his face lol. The third time I checked he had blocked me. It was like he knew I was looking at his public profile. I was careful not to watch his stories. Side note, his profile says ‘snap star’ and he’s verified…do they get special perks like a profile viewer list?

So, since about 9AM half my friends dissapeared from the main chat, they are simply not there. They are in my friends list, I can send them messages and they appear when I am sending a snap, but they are not in the main chat page. Is there anything I can do I cleared the cache, restarted the app and my phone. Is it just a glitch on the android app?? Also when they send me a snap I can open it multiple times and after refresh they dissapear even if they were there before.

Update: it just fixed itself over the night so now it seems to be working fine, it is just glitched with notifications now

How do I tell whether or not for sure 100% someone is over 18 on Snapchat? Birthdays don't show the year

I can only see my friends list story and no ones public story literally nothing there. I’d say it happened a day ago. Is this normal?
