LF fics where something happens to either of them and the fact that nobody knows they're involved means the other one isn't told anything/is trying and failing to get informed?

Okay, the way I worded it is kind of convoluted but hopefully it's still understandable? I'm looking for situationship era mostly, but the important part is that *nobody* knows they would care about what happens to the other. There can be a relationship reveal as part of the fic, I just mean that at least initially there's a focus on how they aren't connected publicly and how that's affecting them negatively in this situation.

No amount of pressing flattens my pages

Hi! This thing has been in the press for several days now with zero progress. I tried pressing in sections, I placed my entire library on top of it, nothing. Even under my body weight in books, the pages were visibly wavy. What to do?

I've seen people recommend slightly wetting the paper and pressing that way. Would that need to be done sheet per sheet? And can I restack the moist papers or should they all be separated? (Essentially, please, please explain this process to me in exhausting detail like I'm 5.) Or do you have any other method to recommend?

I learned now not to let my new laser printer print a whole book in one go because I'm pretty sure it's the printer's heat at fault. The sheets were flat before printing. I guess I could redo the text block with this in mind but I also don't want start from scratch and waste all this material.

TIA :)
