Looking for introductory education on common disease processes, systems in the body, etc

I started my first job in vet med as a VA at an emergency/specialty hospital in January. I am genuinely really loving it and I feel like I finally found a career that suits me. yay! I want to become a nurse, but I have to wait a year before my employer will pay for tech school, so I can't start formal schooling yet. I try to keep up with CE lectures and informational powerpoints that our education coordinator sends out, but they're too advanced.

I've picked up so much medical terminology already from just being around everything, but it can be so frustrating to feel like conversations are over my head. I ask questions sometimes, but when nurses explain things to me it's often still a little too advanced for me to grasp. As I mentioned, a lot of CE isn't very helpful for me because it is geared toward already-licensed nurses.

Can anyone recommend any introductory content that might be out there online? I have found some vet med social media creators very helpful because they make content geared toward pet owners rather than professionals. I'm open to recs for people to follow online as well as educational websites or lectures. Thanks in advance!!
