rid of the weight of gravity,
i feel happy, i feel free,
for once, someone finally loves me,
and for a second i gloat,
but then i gag and i wheeze,
i feel something on my throat,
I look down and i freeze,
his hands dig into my neck,
please just let go,

he has all control
The soul yearns for meaning
For some sort of purpose,
Chasing an unknown feeling
To prevent feeling worthless
The soul latches on to fiction
To a higher being, to rules
But to not think and just listen
it makes you a fool
You ask around
No end in sight
You want to reach common ground
You just want to live right
At night you toss and turn,
lose time and sleep,
All of this and for what earn?
You give up and just weep
And that’s when you found it
The second you give in
Your stomach no longer has a pit
And once again, you start living
