My mom got fired from her job after the new owners said she was being "too negative"
My mom and I live in Des Moines Iowa and she's been working at a local owned coffee shop for 13 years. The old owners sold it to new people 8 months ago who just fired my mom yesterday for "being too negative and talking about inappropriate topics with co-workers".
My mom said that the new owners probably just hated her and wanted an excuse to get rid of her since the owners claim that they never got along with her despite never actually interacting with her for more than a few minutes.
Mostly just seeing if it's even legal to be fired on the spot like this if a business is local and not company owned.

Why JJJ actually hates Spider-Man
A thought just came across my mind, what if J. Jonah, Jamason doesn’t have some convoluted reason to hate spider-man but instead he’s just really arachnophobic so he just hates spiders with zero rhyme or reason.
And it just reflects the fact that despite how good spiders are for not only us but bug control in general they still get hate.
