Hey yall. I’m 26 M, and first time Reddit poster. Tomorrow I am having a tonsillectomy, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. However on Monday (roughly 80 hours out of surgery), my band has an important show. I play guitar, and will not be singing this night. Our set is only 30 minutes, and I can have friends do all lifting and driving for me. Is this feasible? Or is this a stupid idea? I doubt I can find a replacement this close to it. From what I am reading, tonsillectomies can be either very bad or somewhat bearable. I pretty much have to go back to work ~5ish days post surgery, so I’m worried this might set back my recovery timeline. Any thoughts or encouragements would be greatly appreciated.
