My boyfriend(17M) lives an hour away from me(16F). I’ve told my parents all about him and they really approve of him. His car recently broke down and it’s at the mechanic, so it’ll be a while until he can drive down to me again. I have been driving for less than a year, but id say I’m a pretty decent driver. I asked my mom if I could go drive to his place and she said no because she doesn’t want me on the highway. Should I just wait until he gets his car? What would be other ways to keep our relationship nice and strong?

So I (16F) started talking to this guy(17M) a few weeks ago, and I’m honestly a little confused about what I’m feeling and what I should do next. We live in the same state and are less than an hour apart by car. We’ve been talking consistently for a few weeks now, and it’s been really good. He’s super kind, always checks in on what I’m doing, and actually shares details about his own day too, so it feels like a real conversation and not just small talk. He compliments me a lot (calls me pretty, says I’m interesting, etc.), and I’ve told him I think he’s really handsome and funny too. Today we called for about an hour and talked about basically everything. At one point, he asked what I thought of him, and I told him he’s funny, kind, and attractive. Then when he answered, he basically said really sweet things back like that he thinks I’m beautiful, smart, and interesting, and that he likes how I play guitar and stuff like that. After that call I kind of started overthinking everything. I’ve never had a boyfriend before, so I don’t really know what this “means” or how people are supposed to feel at this stage. I think I might like him, but I’m not even sure how to tell if it’s a crush or just me enjoying attention/connection. So… what do I do from here? How do I figure out if this is something real, and what should my next step be?

He always calls me pretty when I send him a picture of me and he’s always telling me what he’s up to, which I adore. I’ve also told him in the past that I think he’s really handsome and that he always brightens up my day when I talk to him. I’ve never been in a relationship before so can someone please explain what’s going on, what he thinks of me, and what I should do? I really don’t know what I’m doing.
