Something in between

This is a mature plant. It isn’t a baby.
She’s bigger than my mayonnaise. Her leaves are bigger than my minions. She’s in a three or 4 inch clear pot and she’s got marvelous big fat green roots but the question is this is there an orchid she’s obviously a.Phal, that is somewhere between a mature orchid, like the one hanging over her. You think you could just see a little bit of the bloom hanging over her that’s a big orchid that’s hanging over her. Is there something between a true mini and this lady that’s in orange pot at the biggest my minis are in 2 inch pots and they bloom at that size but not like this so anybody know the answer is there a middle species, metal growth growth pattern to my big monsters and my little tiny elves and this beautiful plant is she just a large mini?

First time my mini is bloomed

I have several” mini” phals. But this little girl just gave me her first flower her partner in her pot is giving me a new growth in the crown, which is making me very happy but the other thing that the reason I posted this is not because there’s anything particular about her, but please take a look at that plant any of you who are wondering if you have a true mini phal or not take a look at her carefully and also her partner. She is a true mini phal. First of all she’s blooming and her size of the bloom is actually pretty good for a mini the other point is please look at the leaves they’re fat they’re full their mature leaves. Please focus on the word mature. So many people buy seedling. Phals I think they’re getting minis as long as you know it’s a Seed thing I buy them all the time because I end up with the monsters after a few years I have.phals that are amazingly satisfaction so I don’t care if they’re actually true minis, but I do care if I’m being deceived that’s my point minis are not expensive. I don’t know why anyone would go to the bother to sell seedling phals as many as they’re both desirable, you know if you screw up and you get a baby seedling phal then you’re gonna have a great plan later, but it does bother me when I think I’m buying a mini. I’ve gotten very picky about how I look at that plant before I buy it if I prefer a mini and I do for my windowsill. I’ve got some Giant four year-phals they actually have to make room for they’re so big and I intend to let them grow that way when they grow a Kiki if I have room, I leave it there the bigger the plant the better is go to Longwood Gardens if you live in Pennsylvania or Maryland and take a look at some of those gorgeous gigantic orchids, they have there because they have the space to just let them grow and grow and grow and when mama blooms they all bloom what a show. Anyway, I got a message for someone who was concerned about minis and that’s the only reason I’m posting all this nonsense. I’m certainly not an expert, but I do know the difference between a seedling.phal and a mini when I go to buy it so if you’re looking and you’re interested and you wanna make sure you’re getting a mini take a look at their leaves you can see from the one I’m posting that she is mature. She has also is her partner next-door. Who’s growing a new beautiful leaf out of her crown but my minis leaves are mature. They’re fat they’re thick. They’re wonderful and the flower is actually bigger than you would expect on a mini so if you are buying something in the grocery store and they frequently come in those little duplicate pots where there’s one shot on one side of one shot on the other side size wise. Take a look at the leaves take those little clear pots out look at those roots if those leaves don’t look fat and the right color, don’t buy it if you want a mini if you don’t mind paying for a seedling, that’s gonna end up being a beautiful plant for you then do that I buy seedlings way too often but. This is simply response to someone that sent to me about buying a mini or Seat so that’s the information I have and I’m sending you a picture of my absolute mini. This is her first blossom and it’s bigger than I would’ve expected for the little girl that she is.

I have a foreigner among my PHALANOPSIS

I have a neighbor that’s moving out and she left me this PAPH I think you can see the tag in the first picture. I have not a clue about this type of orchid ever had one before any information anything you can tell me I can already see a few things. She does have some new leaves coming out, but I don’t like the two leaves around the small one if you can see it in the picture, it has a new leaf little darker than the others emerging between two leaves that just from plants in my past don’t look right to me. There’s something off with those two leaves. If you think anybody that can give any help about these. And yes, I’ll go to Miss orchid girl.com but I get very good information from this site as well so if you have the time, give me a little bit of help with this new plant for me

Just arrived an hour ago advice

I am renewing my relationship with our pseudo bulb friends. This little lady just arrived and she’s got a nice little pseudo bulb starting. And outside of spritzing those roots, and taking some of the heavy moss off the top of her. I’m gonna leave her be because she’s stamp sit on my table with some light and leave her for a while until she settles in. She’s tiny. She sent a 2 inch pot. Any advice or suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I’m starting over after 35 years with these I’ve had many many years going the easy way. With my beautiful and dependable Phals I know she needs a little bit different environment a little more light, but outside of that I am a truly blank page

I’m not sure what she is, but she’s growing like crazy.

I bought this about seven or eight months ago online and I cannot remember what she is. She had her tag on her, but she’s growing beautifully for me. She, I know that she isn’t my regular.phal She’s got very fine little routines and she needs different care a little more water, but her medium is good. I don’t know if you could see it in the pictures and she’s got a big fat psudo bulb.
This may be the first time I’ve ever had a plant for over a year that was either callelia or an obsidian that has kept a nice fat bulb as it’s growing and it is growing like crazy. It’s growing all kind. You can see it all new babies coming from underneath. She’s growing enough and I have her in an east facing window cooler. She’s near my air conditioner not above it but close enough so she gets the coolness. I keep her a little damper than I do my phals. She may just be immature, but there may be something else going on here so any help anybody could give me I would appreciate it. I must have very simple posts because I get almost no response responses to my post. But I am interested in knowing about her and what kind she is so that I can give her the best care I can.

Great success with my mini PHALENAOPSIS

I posted a text a few weeks ago, asking about repotting several little mini phals I have. The ones that come in the double pot with shot glass flowers. And I needed to repot them. They were just stuffed with roots all of them healthy most of them had flower spikes and although I know the flower spikes should not be important if they really needed to be repotted, they did so I took my chance with all of your great advice. So many people responded, so I thought I would share my very fortunate outcome with six of the little girls that I repotted. So here are some pictures they have new leaves coming up out of the crown the flower spikes that were there before I repotted them were still there and looking well, so thank you for all of your help. They’re back in their little East window that they love, I had them in another area with a little diffuse light for a few days until they got all comfortable, but thank you for all of your advice. I’m very very happy with how they look now.
