Bose Soundbar 900 connection issues
Hi,
I just got here to ask the same question some people already asked. Here is my setup: Sony Bravia TV, Bose 900 soundbar. Apple TV 4K. High speed 8K HDMI cable connected to eARC on Sony TV.
Soundbar doesn’t turn on properly when I turn the setup on with Apple TV remote. Or it turns on a few seconds later, making the TV & the Apple TV restart. And at random times the soundbar just won’t turn on. I’ve tried all the Power Options on the Bose App with no reliable fix.
Oh and I switched to optical cable connection. Worked fine for a while. Then it started its own issues. Soundbar becomes randomly unresponsive when I turn on the TV. It wouldn’t work until I unplug & plug back in. And it would happen every other day or so.
At this point I’m almost ready to throw my 900$ soundbar in the dumpster.
Anybody have any recommendations please?
