Talking about the beginning of EA.
When Inzoi released it got a hype-hate from the whole community. EVERY life sim YouTuber made a Video about how bad the game is and Reddit was full of people criticizing it without end.
To be clear here: only a few people criticized the AI aspect! It was mostly people saying the gameplay sucks, there's no depth, etc.
But now.. Paralives also began EA and let's be honest:
While the art style certainly is pretty - the gameplay has WAY less to offer than Inzoi when it first released.
The only thing you could call more advanced than inzoi's is the build mode and even there it's more the creativity to make objects bigger/smaller without any effort than the building menu actually being good.
And even though all of this-- Paralives is STILL getting sooo much hype and praise and I just don't get it.
- Yes, the game has potential- Inzoi had too.
- Yes, this is EA and more will follow- same for Inzoi.
- Yes, Paralives doesn't use AI- is that really enough reason to shit away Inzoi this much?
Just to be clear: I'm no super Inzoi fan or anything, no super paralives fan and also no longer a super Sims fan.
I'm just putting out my thoughts, that's it's kinda unfair how these two games get handled by the community.
By now Inzoi turnes out to be actually quite good. Like other people when Inzoi released I didn't like it much, but I also didn't criticize it. I just told myself to give it time since it's EA. I recently tried it again and there was SO MANY IMPROVEMENTS AND ADDITIONS.
And even though the game got so much better-
It is still being trashtalked by the lifesim community!! Even though people probably never tried it again after EA released. It's so unfair how paralives sucks with options way less than Inzoi EA and is still getting praised up, while Inzoi only has very few players because people won't give it a try again!
I also want to say that I don't hate on paralives here!
I have the same mindset I had with Inzoi's first EA...
I'll wait and look how the game develops, lol.
It's just not fair how both games released with not much content (which is normal for EA), but they're being treated so differently!
Sorry, this got quite long.
This just sat with me for a while and I felt like I had to do a post about it to rant a bit at least once.
