Anyone else?

I just got Sleeved two days ago. I went home yesterday and had massive pain in my arms, wrists, and hands. Not being able to lift them at all.

I went back to the ER and all they did was check my stomach and made sure I wasn’t having a heart attack.

I was wondering if anyone has gone through this? My arms are swollen and red, warm to my touch. It’s painful to move them. I was wondering if maybe it’s the gas inside the body moving where it shouldn’t be.

I did it!

I got it done this morning at 7am. I’m so excited for this journey.

Yes, I am in a bit of pain but nothing crazy if I’m not sneezing or coughing.

Having some chicken broth here at the hospital, along with Wild Cherry zero sugar Gatorade.

My highest weight was 260, and this morning I weighed 235. I can’t wait to post again in a couple of months and share my progress. Thank you to you all, this sub Reddit helped me out a lot!

Doubts

Hello! I’ll start off with I am a 35 yr old woman and I weigh 250lbs. I have been following this sub Reddit for a while now. I was suppose to get the gastric sleeve about four, maybe five, years ago. I was so ready for it and I started my pre op diet, I had one week to go with my surgery date ready and unfortunately family stuff happened and I couldn’t go through with it.

At the time I had lost 30lbs and was literally ready for this. I was confident in myself. Now I have gained 20 of those 30 I had lost.

Went two months ago to the surgeon and we started all the clearance process, and I was excited. I trust him, and the group I am with are all amazing. I was ready for it…and now that I am slowly being cleared from everything, I am becoming terrified. I am trying to convince myself that I NEED this.

I want to be able to enjoy my life and be healthier. I feel like i am getting cold feet. I still have to get cleared by my therapist who knows I’m not ready yet, and I understand that completely.

I guess what I’m looking for is advice on, if you felt scared and thought “hey I can’t do this” but you did it anyway, how was that for you? Everyone keeps telling me to do it on my own. I feel like I can but it’s getting harder for me. Any advice is welcomed.
