Surgery, recommendations?

Hello, I’ve posted pictures of me before and after surgery. And ankle issues. Had 25 litres out my legs.

Surgery has been life changing for me I’m not going to lie! It got to the point where I struggled standing any longer than ten minutes at a time before my back was in agony and my legs were crazy sore prior to surgery.

I am happy, but I am one of those people that believes that lipo for this disease is also cosmetic. I know some don’t agree.

My surgeon only deals with the disease so now I’ve been de-bulked, can anyone recommend a surgeon who I can go to in order to have touch ups and define and contour? My one thigh is 3 inches bigger than my other (I don’t have any Lymphedema issues) it’s just fat that was missed and I still have cuffs etc but my OG surgeon refuses to help as he is strictly ‘removing disease’ based…

Hi everyone!

I’m planning my very first Disneyland Paris trip and honestly it’s a bit of a dream trip for me. I’m 28 and never got to go as a child, so this feels like one of those “heal your inner child” experiences 😂

Realistically it’ll probably also be my first and last time going, which is why I’m torn between wanting to do EVERYTHING… but also wanting it to feel relaxed, magical and memorable rather than stressed and exhausting.

I absolutely want to experience all the major rides and attractions BUT I also really want time to properly soak everything in too. The atmosphere, the music, the castle at night, wandering through the hotel, snacks, little details, character dining etc. I don’t want to spend the whole trip panic-speed-walking from queue to queue 😅

At the moment I’m considering:
Staying in a Castle Club room at the Disneyland Hotel
Character dining experiences
Maybe using the spa one afternoon/evening
Doing Premier Access Ultimate
Going at Christmas because it looks unbelievably magical

So I wanted advice from people who’ve actually done it:
How many days would you recommend to comfortably do EVERYTHING without feeling rushed?

Is the Disneyland Hotel/Castle Club genuinely worth the money?

Did character dining feel worth it as adults?

Is Premier Access Ultimate a game changer or overpriced?

Would you personally choose luxury + fewer days, or longer stay + cheaper hotel?

Are there any things people regret NOT doing on their once-in-a-lifetime trip?

I think because it means so much to me, I’m overthinking every decision 😂 I’d love honest opinions from Disney adults who understand wanting the trip to feel both exciting and special 🏰✨

Reddit said weights. Surgeons said body lift.

Picture not lifting skin, lifting skin, not lifting skin, lifting skin.

Posting this because I nearly let Reddit convince me I just needed to “lift heavy, build muscle and lose weight.”

I had people telling me…
I don’t look like I’ve lost substantial weight
I look “untrained”
My body looked like theirs before they started exercising.

Meanwhile, after actual consultations with qualified surgeons, the consistent feedback has been…
a couple areas of stubborn fat, skin and tissue laxity and that a lower body lift would address the contour concerns I’m unhappy with.

Exercise is great for health and muscle tone, but it does not magically tighten loose skin or reposition descended tissue.

So if you’re posting on Reddit for advice, please don’t treat the comments as gospel. Use them as opinions not diagnoses.

If something genuinely bothers you, go and get proper consultations instead of letting strangers online decide what your body does or doesn’t need.

Anyway, I’ll come back and post my results once I’ve had surgery so Reddit can decide whether it was actually just a squat deficiency after all 🙈😂

Wondering if you went to a lipoedema specialist or not? My surgeon who did my legs and arms said that it’s not necessary to have a specialist working on the stomach and that I could go to any surgeon for it as it doesn’t require specialist treatment….little bit on the fence about that.
