Encouragement

I just want to encourage people out there, especially young students. My husband and I took our ACT's back in 1997 and 1999. We both got a 19 composite.

Fast forward years later... I went to an average college (that doesn't even exist anymore 😆) to be an ultrasound technologist. My husband never went to college and became a firefighter.

Over the years, I now make 98,000 per year. My husband worked his way up to assistant chief and makes 150,000 a year (working a 72 hour work week).

Please don't let your scores determine your worth. Pick a career that isn't saturated and requires a skill set. Pick something that is specific and something you think you'll truly love.

You don't have to go to the most elite school. Community college is a great way to start off. Employers don't care where you went to school, they only care if you have the qualifications to do the job. ❤️
