I'm sure most people here have at least heard or experienced the glitch that causes save files to get corrupted, sending you back a level or even wiping all of your progress. I plan on playing Exodus again so I can finally get all the achievements, but I wanted to check here and see if anyone knows of a way to prevent the bug from happening.
I've been considering upgrading for a bit now and I'm not sure if I should get this new CPU and stick to AM4 for now, or go to AM5 completely.

I saw a few AM5 bundles at Microcenter that seem pretty decent but are still expensive, so I'm wary to just drop a ton of money before looking into it. I also haven't really been involved in the PC building space for a few years now, so that's part of the reason I'm posting here.

I think my card has been doing this thing where it simulates 5.1, which is nice but sometimes I'd rather just use stereo on my headphones.
I got this device relatively recently and jumped from a Zx, so I'm not super familiar with it. I think part of my issue is the command app, which imo is inferior to the old version.
