Blue Elite Edges Comparison

Somebody in another thread suggested I shared this with everyone.

The math on elite edges suggests you could build 95 speed, 83 agility, and 87 acceleration with blue elite edges and it would be comparable to a 96/96/96 without elite edges. I tested this with a 6'6" power forward build (in the previous comment I said it was two way forwards, after checking the video I was wrong it was a power forward) the build on the left is 6'6" 195 lb power forward build with Blue elite edges, 95/83/87 stats. The one on the right is the same build, but with out elite edges, and 96/96/96 stats. The video freeze frames when the guy on the left crosses the red.

From what I've been able to tell, they skate the same speed, but the EE build is actually a step quicker because EE has the fast first step animation. And in game, the handling is significantly better with the EE build, obviously.

This opens the door for some way more interesting builds everyone can play. Because those stats can be distributed to balance, puck control, shot power and accuracy, etc. and also, you have a wider range of size you can play. I'm literally using a 6'9" enforcer and keeping up with everyone.

The only downside is that it limits your x factors, but it hasn't bothered me so far.
