Best way to train this honeysuckle to the right over pergola?

Im thinking I should tie the 'leaders' that are growing straight up down flat, pointing toward the house. Or would it be better to trim all the leaders going in the wrong direction (up and left) off so the plant puts its energy into the few that are over that way? Or both?

This may be the 'mental conditioning' it's put me through the last few years working, but the bindweed is starting to look pretty good.
