Bird bath in Chiavetta's for ~13 hours

BB Lump in vortex, vents wide open (lid showed up to 500 but take with grain of salt)

indirect for 45 minutes - mopped on some more sauce and closed for another five minutes.

finished over coals (started to pour during this step) to get a nice char - mopped sauce again and sprinted inside.

Turned out fantastic and definitely recommend getting this stuff if you can find it near you. Juicy, vinegary deliciousness.

Braided Pork Loin with my Bro-n-sear

B&B Lump Charcoal - Was trying to keep it ~300 but grill lid was saying closer to 400. I know the lid thermometer is often inaccurate but that BB lump does seem to run pretty hot imho.

Rubbed with Bad Byron's Butt Rub and glazed with Brook's Oneonta BBQ Sauce

Cooked until 135 - then added sauce

Took off grill at 145 internal

Was not much extra effort to braid the pork loin (may have enlisted my daughter to braid it but I digress) but it was a great way to add more flavor from the rub. Definitely will be doing braided each time I get a pork loin!
