Hello! My name's Charlie (25F) from Australia, and I'm looking for someone to share in a slice of life type RP with me.
Other than a decent hiatus, I've been a pretty active Roleplayer for a long time. I'm an advanced Lit/Novella writer. However, I'm not about to throw a fit if we don't hit the Discord word count every time. So long as we're on a similar page for length and detail, we're cruisey.
I write in 3rd person, but I am not totally opposed to 1st.

Also, I am an adult with a life and a job, and I understand life and jobs get in the way, so I am not going to come down on you for spacey responses, hiatuses, or semi-ghostings. If you're not feeling it, that's okay too!
Here's the gist;
Have you ever shaken your head at your friends who are in relationships with just terrible, awful people? Have you ever felt left out? Like your partner, or lack thereof, is just not giving you the right amount of misery and stress? Do not have enough toxicity in your life? Do you crave avoidance? Love-bombing? Passionate nights and gruesome fights? Do you wish you had a boyfriend who is just... well... a bit crap. He's hot, though, don't worry.
Well! Aren't you in luck. Meet Jack Mellors, an OC of mine compiled of all of the things I hate about my exes. (Just kidding)
Jack is your average Cockney bad boy with a plethora of problems and a nasty knack for getting pinned by the coppers for a case of sticky fingers and bloody knuckles. He smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish, and somehow, despite all of the practice, he still can't attend a family gathering without making an absolute toss of himself - and you. He's mean sometimes, and his record stops him from getting a decent job, and he's angry at the world for a lot of things that are his own fault. He jumps to conclusions and is quick to throw hands and, despite being a god-awful singer, insists on melting your eardrums on a nearly daily basis.
He scares you sometimes.
Because he's not like you. You're sweet. Kind. Beautiful. Intelligent. But, he adores you. He really does. He would go to the ends of the earth, to the moon or to hell and back just to see you smile. He'll carry your bag when it's too heavy, he'll wear your shoes when your feet get sore, and he'll put every penny, and ounce of effort into making your dreams come true because you're all he has.
How the plot goes, and how the story starts is totally up for a brainstorm. I have a couple of ideas, but I'd love to hear yours, too. Also, if you don't want to play a softer character, you don't have to - your OC is your own, and Jack (and I) will love them regardless.
Also, if you have an OC in reserve that you'd like to use as a double (OC X OC, OC X OC), i'd love to hear about them and we could totally incorporate them into the story, or have a spin off, or a completely separate thing on the go.
I love OOC, and pinboards and playlists and artwork, and I'm super into drawing, so with your OK, I'll be turning out terrible animations and drawings
