Had a pretty unpleasant experience today while driving.
There was a group of boys in a Thar, and one of them suddenly spat out of the vehicle. It came directly on me.
I told them, “don’t spit like this.”
That’s it. I wasn’t arguing or abusing them, just asked them not to do it.
Instead of simply saying sorry, they started abusing me and then tried to get physical with me.
I didn’t want the situation to get worse, so I just avoided them and left.
Honestly, it was frustrating, but looking back, I think I did the right thing. You never know how someone is going to react on the road.
Sometimes, even if you’re right, it’s better to walk away than get dragged into a pointless fight.

I was looking at the VIPS BA LLB Home State Round 1 cutoffs, and I honestly don’t get the hype around this college.

• Minimum Rank: 4,856
• Maximum Rank: 18,779, and it may go up to 25000

Is it mainly because of:

• Delhi location?
• Lower fees compared to private universities?
• Better internships and exposure?
• Or is it simply a safe option for law aspirants who couldn’t get into an NLU or other good colleges?

I’m genuinely curious why so many students from outside Delhi prefer VIPS despite the cutoffs going this high every year.

First of all, let me clarify that whatever I am going to write in this post is purely based on my analysis of data available on the internet, especially from sources such as LinkedIn, NAAC, AISHE, college websites, and student reviews.

Among the IPU-affiliated colleges I researched, Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida, stood out to me for several reasons. The college appears to offer good internship opportunities and placement assistance for students. Based on the faculty profiles available online, the teaching staff seems quite competent, with many faculty members having graduated from premier institutions, including various NLUs.

Another positive aspect is the scholarship policy. DME offers scholarships based on CLAT rank as well as Class 12th percentage, and the eligibility criteria are clearly mentioned on the college website.

I also spoke with one of the passed out student, and the feedback I received was positive regarding academics, faculty support, internships, and campus environment.

Considering all these factors, I have decided to keep DME Noida as one of my preferred options during IPU counselling.

Many students come from modest backgrounds and cannot afford expensive coaching materials. A set of old books that is of little use to one person could make a huge difference to another aspirant. Here, I am not criticising anyone's right to sell. Everyone is free to do as they wish.

Why is the response always "for sale" rather than "take it, I don't need it anymore"?

I see many people who have already cleared CLAT, joined NLUs, or no longer need their study material. Yet almost everyone wants to sell it, even when the material is just sitting unused.

A CLAT aspirant may be simply looking for old notes, previous materials, mock compilations, magazines, or books that would otherwise gather dust.

I want to donate my CLAT material

I am willing to pay the postage/courier charges myself. If the shipping cost is under ₹200, I can cover it without any issue. If someone needs the material, reply
