Programmer looking for startups
Hej hestenettet,
I am a talented software engineer looking for an early startup.
As you can already guess, I am quite new to Denmark (Aarhus), and I don’t have a network here like I used to have. I have worked for several startups, and I know a strong network of founders and skilled people is irreplaceable if you want to catch those early, super exciting days in the life of a new company.
So, I am writing to you. Maybe you need a strong technical person to do those initial POCs or you know of an early-days startup that needs a single person to do everything.
I have worked at several companies as the first/one of the first programmers and I like that. Here are some examples of things I did, together with my former team members:
- In an anti-fraud startup we invented ways to detect proxy servers, vpn’s and other methods to find a buyer’s true location.
- At an automotive startup we invented a whole new concept of detecting intruders to the car’s network. We then moved it to demo quickly for a range of automotive makers.
- At the last startup I worked at we used AI agents to do repetitive back porting of security patches.
- I also have extensive experience and knowledge of cyber security, finding vulnerabilities and creating exploits. I spent a lot of time reading and debugging kernel code/browser code.
I can do backend, client and server. I can handle some dev-ops and IT work, because I have always had to do this stuff. I can do very deep research and love learning new things. I have more than 20 years of experience.I also enjoy playing around with tech and creating home-made projects. I tinkered a lot with raspberry pi and even some embedded circuitry. Right now my home lab is running some local LLM models and I’m learning neural networks and deep learning because I find it fascinating.
The only thing I am missing here is a network to help point me in the right direction, so I hope this post might help me connect with anyone who may be looking for people like me. I know early days can be full of pivots and lack money. That’s not a problem. I just need the opportunity to find something that’s right for me. I don’t need a job for a visa and can work anywhere I want.
