i applied to sfu beedie and sfu arts(secondary). i got rejected by beedie like 5-6weeks ago and my secondary still shows as evaluating on the portal. i emailed them and i got an ai response which basically said that “my average is below competitive but my application is still being evaluated” should i js give up on sfu atp😭. my average is around 84ish.

so basically i emailed sfu about how long my application may take and the response i got was that “your application is still being evaluated. However, as we are coming to the end of our admissions cycle, if you do not receive and offer in the next week or so I would recommend considering alternative options for your studies this fall.” do the admission advisor have to say this as an obligatory response as many universities have their deadline for deposit on june 1 or does this mean that my chances are slim? i got the email from sfu on may 20
