Terrible GPA + improvements last two years. Any chance ?

Hi everyone, I’m not sure who to ask so I thought this would be the best place. I’m a Canadian university student planning on studying law. In my first two years I was double majoring in economics and math and my GPA was a 1.8. I know that’s bad, but I was also dealing with the death of a close family member to the point where I was considering dropping out. I switched to political science in third year and brought my GPA up to a 3.6 ( just for third year not cumulative) and I’m aiming for 3.7+ in fourth year. I’m also planning on writing the LSAT this year and I know I’ll need a high score, probably 170+. Even with a strong LSAT, do I have a realistic chance at law school in Canada, or should I be considering other paths? Any advice is appreciated
