I got my cheeks pierced about 4 months ago and they were both healing lovely. However when I was cleaning one of them( right cheek) the top part unscrewed and the piercing slid out. I put it back in and screwed it, but my cheek immediately started swelling up, and now I think it may be infected. Earlier today my piercing sunk in completely and I had to pull my skin back so it would push through the hole again. I’m on my way to a store now to hopefully get a longer bar, but is it completely f*cked? Or will it heal again after getting a longer bar.

Update: REPLACED THE BAR AND ITS SO MUCH BETTER!!
