2 Amazing Flight Attendants
On Saturday May 16th, Alaska flight number AS2295 from Seattle to Billings I was sitting in seat number A6 or A7, I can't quite remember exactly which seat but it was a window seat. Once we emerged above the clouds my tears were pouring uncontrollably as I silently cried for my mother I just lost on May 8th. When it was time to distribute the snacks, she noticed I was crying and was very concerned. I told her I didn't want anything to drink unless she had Jack and Coke lol and she did. She gave me snacks and the drink and said if I needed anything to let her know. About 10 minutes later a different flight attendant approach me and said she heard about my mom and to please let them know if I need anything at all. Before we landed the second flight attended had four different types of snacks she brought me and said "Here, take these with you... I am very sorry for your loss" and although they said what many people would have said in that time, it was the way they said it. It was the kindness they showed me when I needed it most. I'm crying right now as I write this. I did not get their names but I really hope I can find a way to tell them thank you and that their compassion did not go unnoticed.
