Can someone tell me exactly what the status of student loan repayment is right now? I understand that they were eliminating some of the payment plan types. I graduated 2 1/2 years ago and I’ve only made a payment once. It seems like everything changes quickly.

Filed taxes April 15. I owe about 2500 and need a repay,ent plan but when I log in to the irs.gov it says I’m not eligible. I also can’t find my balance online it’s grayed out. Where can I file for a repayment plan short or long term if I can’t see my balance online and it’s been almost two months?

Do I have to wait for them to post a balance or let me know hey you owe something what do you wanna do to pay? It should even pay anything at all if they haven’t even posted the balance with penalties?
