[Freelance Pricing Advice] Solo dev (using AI tools) built a full-stack Coworking. What should I charge for handover?
I really need your advice & will appreciate your guidance.
Hi everyone, looking for some pricing reality-checks for the Indian market.
I’ve spent the last few months architecting and building a custom B2B application for a coworking space. I am a solo dev and heavily utilized AI IDE agents to accelerate the build.
The client wants to buy the IP, deploy to production, and put me on a monthly retainer.
Tech Stack: React Native (Expo), React.js Admin Web, Node.js/Express backend, Drizzle ORM, Neon Postgres.
Scope of Work Delivered:
- Mobile App (iOS/Android): Guest booking flow, OTP authentication.
- Corporate B2B Engine: A custom digital wallet. Companies buy "Credits" which are auto-allocated to their employees on the 1st of every month.
- Complex Logic: Hybrid checkouts (Credits + Fiat via PayU integration with hash verification and GST math) and strict race-condition prevention for room inventory.
- Admin Dashboard: Approval queues, credit ledger adjustments, booking management.
I am handling the end-to-end deployment (Railway, Vercel, App Stores).
Given this is a fully functional, production-ready system replacing expensive SaaS subscriptions (like Nexudus), what is a fair:
- One-time development/IP handover fee?
- Monthly server maintenance/support retainer?
