I just passed the PL300!
My big thanks to everyone who has posted their PL300 advice on this subreddit! I just passed with a score of 850.
For context, I have been working with PBI for the past 4 years but still found the PL300 quite tricky. Here is what I did if it will help anyone:
- Casually studied MS Learn for around a month. If I were to turn back time I would spend less time on this and more on the practice tests
- The MS Learn practice exam was helpful (though, I would not rely on this alone)
- Practice exams on Udemy: I spent a full week on this, thankfully I had a lot of free time last week to dedicate here.
- Udemy: I took practice exams from Joel Palmer and Ravikiran Srinivasulu. Both were very helpful - but the one by Rav helped me the most. I scored embarrasingly low in his practice tests but it helped me tackle my weaknesses well. (I only did Udemy practice tests since our company has a price cap on training materials)
- Oh and lastly, I didn't want to freeze during the test so I stopped studying the night before haha
Good luck to anyone about to take the test! It's tricky for sure but the practice tests are way harder.
