Experience with Journeyer size 49?
I am looking for a small frameset for my wife who is about 152cm tall (5 ft?).
So far we stumbled on the Journeyer (or Surly Preamble XS which is a way more basic frameset).
Does anyone have experience with the Size 49 Journeyer (and maybe even experience comparing it to a size 51 Journeyer) at similar height?
I see it being a 650b bike for the smallest sizes but what is the actual tire clearance and toe overlap experience?
Could this thing take 700x28 or (32?) at all or just narrow 650Bs?
The use is mostly okayish pavement and not much offroading, the main point is the size (esp reach).
On current Triban GRVL120 (2021/2022 version I think) with 36cm bars and 60mm stem the reach is still solid 20-30mm too long.l from where her hands naturally end up behind the hoods. Tried 40mm stem and the steering was a bit wonky.
