There was a huge pallet of the Pawpaw Ale8 in the Louisville Meijer off Preston and a couple of end caps. I picked up several orders for friends. I didn’t see any Zeros though.
A new band of squirrels have moved into the neighborhood. Not content with the bird feeders, chicken feed, and peanuts the Kravitzes leave specifically for them, they have chosen violence. The pawpaw, persimmons, and plums have dodged frosts, weathered storms, and survived the dreaded June Drop only to be obliterated by Skwerlmageddon.
"They have taken the bridge… and the second hall. We have barred the gates… but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes. Drums… drums… in the deep."
I think June drop came early for me (Louisville, KY) so I went to check to see who’s left. This little bunch has 10 fruit! I’ve been thinning some out but I’m tempted to let nature take its course and see what happens. 😬
