It just feels like they trying to find something to be mad about,this manga is WEEKLY and tatsu provides us with peak art each week but suddenly because he draws the dinosaurs “inaccurate”,everyone just gonna ignore his other amazing artworks I wanna say it’s just twitter being miserable but dandadan has been recently the punching bag on the app ever since the amnesia arc.
I made this post because of the recent ship wars going on,”Aira x okarun this,Momo x okarun that”so I decided to just draw fanart of all the ships (I know I missed things like momojiji,momozuma,etc.) I gotten lazy with selecting ships so this is what ya get,enjoy your favorite ships as chibis!
Here’s the first results of best chapter! Here are tatsu sensei comment for it:
Tatsu sensei comment: I remember drawing the storyboard for this chapter while crying, during the COVID period when the world felt tense and strained. My own mood was low, and there were unfortunate things happening around me. It was a time when something like anger toward society just burst out of me.
But I’ve realized that when I draw stories like this, they pull me in and bring my spirits down, so I need to be mentally prepared for it.
Then for the next slide,we got best action chapter! Here are tatsu sensei comment on it:
Tatsu sensei comment: The idea of Jiji and the Evil Eye switching at high speed was suggested by my editor, Lin. When I heard it would be like a light bulb flickering rapidly, I thought, “That’s so silly—let’s go with it!”
It’s basically like Jiji and the Evil Eye have fused into one, but honestly, I’m not even sure myself how that should be performed.

And for the final slide,we got best romantic chapter! Here are tatsu sensei comment on it:
Tatsu sensei comment: Ah, here it is. When I was storyboarding this part, I was like, “Whoa, he confessed!”—I surprised myself.
It really shows how, even if you plan things out, the storyboard can end up going in a totally different direction.
But seriously… what are you going to do now, Okarun?!

When I reread the series, it brought back all kinds of memories from back then—sometimes it made me feel down, and other times it fired me up again.
Personally, my favorite part is when Okarun and Kinta combine and defeat Hase (Chapter 190)! Damn you, Hase!
That said, I have this tendency to end up liking the more unpleasant characters, so part of me is thinking, “Make Okarun suffer more,” but at the same time, I also feel like, “I won’t forgive you!”
I probably shouldn’t ramble on too much, so I’ll leave it at that.
I’m truly happy that *Dandadan* has reached its 5th anniversary.
