Can a 2nd-year college student fill the CDS form just to appear for the written exam?
I'm currently in the 2nd year of my degree and was thinking of filling out the CDS form mainly to get experience of the actual written exam environment.
The form only has an option for graduates/final-year students, and I've heard that some students who aren't in their final year still fill the form and appear for the written exam.
I don't intend to go for SSB or continue the process if I clear the written exam—my only goal is to gain exam experience.
Has anyone here been in a similar situation? Is it possible to appear for the written exam, and are there any consequences of selecting "final year appearing" when you're actually in 2nd year?
Would appreciate guidance from anyone familiar with CDS applications or who has faced a similar situation.
