I made a quick spreadsheet with settings taken from Digital Foundry, Hardware Unboxed, and BenchmarKing so it would be easier to compare them.
Also, for anyone reading this, what settings did you go with on your machine? I’m still undecided about the GI quality, since RT Medium produces artifacts and RT High is quite demanding.

Last month, I ordered the Odin Portal 2 Base for $271 with the intention of playing older games (mainly Windows games from the Xbox 360/PS3 era), PS2 games, and mostly streaming from my gaming PC. I expect to use the device 95% of the time at home and probably won’t take it with me very often.
Today, I found an offer for the MSI Claw A8 with the Z2E for $670.
Now I’m torn between keeping my Odin order, since it should do everything I want, or spending almost 2.5x more money on the bigger MSI, which may or may not offer me much more value.

For highly demanding games, I can always use my gaming PC, and I already know what kind of performance and games I can expect from both devices. The Claw is definitely much more versatile when not using streaming, but I’m not sure if I can justify the price, especially if I end up not using it as much as I expected.
Can I ask for your opinions, experiences, or any other advice?
