They truly had the potential to be cast together in a mature love story because their pairing was absolutely unforgettable.
Among all the ITV actresses I’ve watched, only Pooja Sharma and Jennifer Winget truly left a lasting impression on me with their performances. Pooja Sharma was phenomenal as Draupadi and Mahakaali, bringing so much power and depth to both roles. Jennifer Winget, on the other hand, took Maya to an entirely different level with her intense and unforgettable portrayal. Honestly, I feel both of them had the talent and screen presence to deserve a place in Bollywood.
While most people love Pooja Sharma for her role as Draupadi, I personally admire her performance in Mahakaali even more. That role seemed far more demanding, having to wear elaborate, heavy costumes and jewelry, along with full-body paint, while still performing intense action scenes. It definitely wasn’t easy, yet she delivered an outstanding performance as Mahakaali and beautifully portrayed the different forms of Shakti.
