Ipkknd question

did anyone feel nani was responsible somewhere in encouraging Anjali's manipulative side, along with other elders like mami mama? Here's what I feel:

  1. She never corrected anjali when she was rude and troublesome. forget the remarriage part but do you remember how conveniently she ran from house to mandir when arnav didn't listen her wish and later says that 'hmare to saare kaam bn jate h aise'

  2. many will disagree here, but nani judged lavanya for clothes length but she never judged anjali for her overly transparent sarees? this doesn't add up cos then she shouldn't judge lavanya also.

  3. she held khushi responsible for anjali and said stay away from her, when she was not the reason. the only time khushi needed her support in whatever happened.

  4. nani was the elder how she blind eyed everything, the younger ppl followed along. this only fuelled Anjali's overly dependent and controlling behaviour.

side question - anjali was living in maika from 3 years of marriage (to which neither nani nor dadi objected, considering they both are very strict about morals and principles but for anjali big no) so after shyam was ousted why didn't she chose to leave the house and live with him instead of going behind everyone's back and lying conveniently? was she greedy for arnav financing her and her kid and hubby now?

Has ITV forgotten the importance of a good hero? There is no one to fill the gap

Literally all the iconic heroes are over or nearing 40s now with no one to fill the gap

Kaash ye rishta aisa hota.

Just commented somewhere this.

What if this would be Yrkkh gen 3 plot?

Ik ML not falling for FL is weird but...the ending matters the most.

How I wish yrkkh gen 3 had happened

First of all, let aarohi have been considerably younger to akshara, that would have butchered kaira's relation more. Making kartik move on after a year was the stupidest thing that the makers could have done.
Then, give Aarohi a more genuine reason to hate Akshara, make the accident with Sirat more Akshara's fault (cause what they showed was a really stupid reason really). That would have created some real need for friction, and the fact that aarohi would be much younger would be more relatable when she starts the hate to akshu. And Akshu's guilt and panic attacks could be more explainable. That would really give more realistic feel to both characters rather than making one mahaan and the other villain
Next, post leap, when they're doing the love triangle, wedding, all that, proceed it slow. Let Abhimanyu and Akshara face issues while DATING. Noone goes to marriage that fast. Or if marriage being fast was needed, go the traditional route, and make it arranged. Aarohi, since shes younger to akshara considerably, would still be in her studying phase so she cant really be that invested in trying to break up abhimanyu and akshu either. She'll just be a side character.
Give her more flaws then just hating akshara, like she spent so much time on her studies that she cant do the expected 'bahu' things like cooking or saree draping or pooja rituals, etc. That also gives the makers time to show Akshu in the birla house, adapting to them, learning to not interfere too much in the matters of birla house like abhi asked her, and forming bonds with them.
Show her having trouble adjusting to the hectic schedule of doctors, maybe show her missing her family terribly and falling ill and she is too hesitant to tell the birlas the reason, and her declining relation with aarohi as time passes. Show her trying to build a bridge with her sister even post marriage, by simple ways like sending home kachoris or calling her frequently.
Meanwhile, start neirohi in college. Could have made niel a bit more complex character, who was doing medicine in the hopes of being accepted by the birlas more. Keep them young and stupid, and introduce the whole anisha and kairav thing and then, after the kunal mehra leap, let that be for 2-3 yrs instead of just 1 year, and then bring in neirohi's secret relationship and abhira reunion. Also show aarohi secretly missing akshara in the 2-3 years and when akshu reenters her life, resentment that she left. Then the neirohi thing is revealed, and maybe show akshara supporting the two instead of trying to split them up, and show aarohi and akshara's patch up there. Aarohi could still do that birla hospital share thing, and niel could support her when it comes out, revealing he always felt like a second class citizen here and a fallout. Thats when manjiri reveals his actual parentage and neirohi shift out. Let them live independantly in a different house, and show their simple day to day struggles, and simple happinesses. Meanwhile, focus on abhira and maybe abhimanyu doesnt want kids and akshara wants them. So do a track on that, with akshara trying to convince abhi and finally after he agrees, the medical thing comes out. Then treatments and everything else keep it same until the whole niel dying track, but maybe put him in coma instead of killing him off, and akshara miscarries, and aarohi wasnt pregnant or anything. So post leap, everyone has lost hope that niel will live, and aarohi is the one who is adamant he's fine. noone dares tell her otherwise cause she gets panic atacks when someone talks abt him in past tense. Then, do the whole abhinav and akshara thing, and one tweek they can do is that abhimanyu and akshara arent divorced, she had an accident, lost her memory and abhinav saved her. Abhir knows abhinav isnt his dad, but akshara genuinely has no clue who abhir's father is. Then the kasauli track and abhimanyu and akshara meeting and manjiri still hates akshara and all that, and abhi can help akshu remember everything, and he slowly bonds with abhir, and abhinav can become good friends with the birlas who are grateful to him, and niel comes out of coma and eventually aarohi can become pregnant with ruhi and akshara with abhira and they could have ended gen 3 with a happy note that way and kill off akshara, abhimanyu and abhir in a car crash, leaving abhira orphaned, and then shown a leap to show exactly how abhir survived and his struggle in an orphange, and even niel and aarohi's struggle in raising a teen ruhi and how ruhi's bond with abhira is, and then they could have started gen 4. That way, ruhi and abhira falling for the same boy would have been more heartwrenching when it starts affecting their bond from childhood and blah blah.

I dont think anyone will read this, it got too long, but I really wish the makers had done this instead of ruining everyone's characters.

Tum Dena Saath Mera- finally serving old school nostalgia 🙈🤌

Ok I have to admit, I’m really liking the episodes this week!

Looks like they’ve taken audience feedback of increasing screen time of the leads interaction and decreasing toxicity in Sriti’s family dynamics.

Really enjoying how the show has pivoted and showing Shabbir’s character already falling for Sriti. Also the fact that he actually has a brain and takes a solid stand for her character IM SEATED!

Please tell me other ppl are also watching the show, I need to discuss with someone haha

Itv actors that lowkey feel auraless to me

These are the actors I personally find kind of "auraless".. like they just don't really hold attention on screen for me, even in big roles. Just feel very bland or forgettable to me.

Who are some actors that feel like this for you?

Shararat needs to retlecast on itv

Shararat is my all time favourite binge show . Three generation of paris creating chaos and drama is fun to watch .Jiya and nani chemistry can literally defeat recent couples . Farida jalal was the cutest nani ever appeared onscreen. Jiya dhruv had insane chemistry and there flirty scenes, you will literally blush. And ngl ,i loved jiya dad and nani's nokjhok jadoo teasing and her mom getting troubled with shanti. The only track or arc that was little boring i.e bhoot vs pari track . Their old house had better vibes . Mita and raja were true example of today situationship and Pam tried everything for dhruv attention . Total drama and nostalgia !! Special mention to jiya's jadoo skills , she always failed only the time it worked for her in jadoo competition.

And every cast still treat farida jalal as their nani . They meet her in birthdays and shower love to her . These nostalgic shows need more mentions or may be new seasons because toxic show are increasing nowadays. Star plus should start afternoon time and retelecast it so that new generation can also enjoy these shows.

Kundrra is the type of person that everyone should avoid in real life

He obsesses over being in everyone's good books and desperately wants to be friends with everyone in the room. People like him make the worst friends and partners utterly lacking ethics and completely incapable of taking a stand.

A friend to everyone is a friend to none 🤡

Karan Kundra and Tejaswi Prakash on Desi Bling

okay so ive watched a bit of it and omg its so pretentious😭😭😭 First of all karan is showed as this most famous and successful actor and Tejaswi is supposedly shown as less successful and from a less affluent family or something ,which is so not true. Tejaswi earns as much and I think even more than karan. And hes definitely not the highest paid actor, Kapil Sharma charged more than him when he had his show on colors and Sony TV. And Tejaswi saying this life is new to me , im getting accustomed to dubai life etc etc and im like girl, u were literally born in Saudi and you're dad worked in Dubai😭😭😭 Idk why they're trying to set this narrative of karan being super rich and Tejaswi being extremely new to money and less successful than him. And karan making all this misogynistic jokes and telling her to wear makeup before she steps out , its so disrespectful to watch and totally opposite of what he was portrayed in biggboss and laughter chefs as this ultimate green flag
