So when Harshad was saying he loves Shivanulike a family member and her mum has entrusted her in him, it felt fishy because on day 1 they acted like they didn't know the other one was going to participate on the show🧐 But suddenly they started being so co-dependent inside the mad house from week 2. I can somewhat ignore that as a hyperbole because they want the people in the madhouse to not put a twist to their platonic relationship. Harshad also says he's 43 and the age to get married has passed but please think about Shivangi (implying she's still young), but here comes the problem. He's self depreciating himself to nail a point to the mohalle ki aunty Tinde, but instead of defending her friend, Shivangi doubles down on it by saying even Shilpa's age for marriage has passed? Hello? This sounded incredibly selfish of Shivangi. He's likening his love for her to that of a family member but here she's being nasty towards Tinde by using his own point!

The best thing about KRPKAB is that how every other character calls out Dev on his bs in no uncertain terms otherwise it would be unbearable to watch the show. Sonakshi and Rithik would have worked both theoretically and practically way better than Devakshi 🥲I could sympathise with him till Devakshi wedding but after that he never grew a pair. Men like ASR, Asad, RK are fictional to a large extent but Dev is way too real, such men are a dime a dozen in the real world. Kudos to Shaheer Sheikh for making this character palatable

This is my first rewatch after a decade and while I love their equation in their happy moments, they were far too dysfunctional as a couple due to the semi- incestuous Jocasta complex relationship between Dev and Ishwari. Sonakshi is such a gem of a character. Erica is incredibly lucky to have landed this once in a lifetime character. Freud would have had a field day investigating these characters as they are so shockingly realistic.
Not just this: composing a love theme sufi song for the cheater couple and expecting people to magically root for them was sheer audacity at its best
