Mouth unable to open fully standing up but opens fully when laying down

Please help!

I'm on vacation and my TMJ started to act up. I had some jaw popping leading up to the vacation but I didn't have time to get it sorted out. After a couple of flights, I noticed that my jaw was getting tighter and tighter and now I'm unable to fully open my mouth. I'm thankfully still able to eat and talk but it's quite uncomfortable

The weird thing is, my mouth fully opens when I'm laying down. Has anyone been through this?

Taking one child on a trip and leaving one home with dad

Taking one child on a trip and leaving one home with dad

What are your thoughts on taking one child on a trip and the other one staying home with dad?

I have to go to Asia from North America to help my aging parents with some family stuff. The prices for flights are so high right now due to the fuel issues. My youngest is also on the spectrum and a long haul flight might be too much for him. My husband suggested that I go with our 10 year old and have a one on one trip with her for 2 weeks.

I'm feeling such immense guilt for leaving my youngest (5YO). My husband is the best father ever and I know he will have so much fun with dad but I can't help but feel so horrible for leaving him for two weeks.

Do you think this will be detrimental for a child to not have his mom and sister around for 2 weeks?
