In what contexts do you experience pretty privilege?

I recently lost over 100 pounds and now am a size 2. I always assumed that once I lost the weight, the world would visibly change around me ie better treatment, more warmth from strangers, the whole “pretty privilege” effect.

The thing is, I’m pretty socially isolated, so I don’t have enough real-world data to know whether that shift is actually happening. I’m not in enough social situations to notice a difference.

Has anyone been in this position? How do you actually test whether pretty privilege is working in your favor when you’re not regularly putting yourself out there?

Is the lack of visible change just because I’m not socializing enough, or is it possible I’m just… not that attractive even at a lower weight?

Curious if others have navigated this.
