AAA 1908 Platinum from Travis
Ordered a AAA Platinum 1908 to see how it looked in person, I'm not disappointed. I just ordered a superclone version of it. I will do a side by side when it arrives.

VSF problems, I found a clue.
Two VSF watches came in for repair this week. I have just started diagnosing the first one. Initial inspection revealed a non-runner that was very difficult to wind. Opening the watch revealed a free spinning balance with no obstructions, but after removing the balance, no power transfer through the pallet fork. When I started pulling bridges off, crud was everywhere. I found the culprit.

Omega Aqua Terra "Spectre" from Lena
Purchased an Aqua Terra from Lena, AAA, Mingzhu 2813. Under $100 for a beautiful Omega. I don't particularly care for Mingzhu movements, so I swapped a Miyota 8215 into it myself, a 30 minute job.
